Autumn Is Here – Keeping the Routine on Track
Autumn has arrived, and staying motivated can be a bit tougher this time of year. There’s always plenty to juggle, but right now the routine is working. I manage family, dogs, training, jogging, cooking – and yes, even a good bottle of wine. A solid, old-school rhythm.
Monday
35 minutes at the gym before work. Quick and effective start.
Tuesday
40-minute powerwalk, then 30 minutes of strength training at the gym.
Wednesday
Same plan – walk and gym. Simple and steady.
Thursday
Repeat of the routine. No fuss, just keeping at it.
Friday
Same setup, but with a slower pace at the gym.
In the evening: beef tenderloin and a new wine. More about that under wines.
Saturday
Rest day. In the evening, wild boar roast and another new wine to try.
Sunday
Running with the dogs, about 4 km in the crisp autumn air.
A week that feels stable, manageable, and sustainable – exactly what you want when the days start getting darker.
